Kaibo Beach Bar & Grill
Kaibo Beach Bar and Grill is a North Side gem tucked away on Cayman Kai, and worth the discovery. The drive is an opportunity to see some real island life en route, and at the point where you have left civilisation behind, turn on to Water Cay Road and find yourself at the perfect paradise beach bar straight out of one of those Corona ads.
Coconut palms, fishermen, double loungers and thatched cabanas surround Kaibo Beach Bar & Grill. In the heart of the bar they stack beer with a mountain of ice (600 pounds a day) that would impress any wandering Eskimo. The gorgeous bar staff, the Kaibo Angels, invite you to sample a variety of cocktails –‘Mudslides’ are the most spectacular – or can show you our comprehensive wine list. The Grill offers relaxed lunches of fresh sandwiches, salads, wraps to the sound of Caribbean beats. The evening menu boasts elegant beach side dinners to torch light.
Local line-caught fish is a speciality. This is a great place to do nothing and relax. But if that is not your style, join one of our yoga classes, then sign up at the watersports hut for something you haven’t done for years. Hook up to the free wireless internet.
